I said okay because I was looking around for another topic about this game XD
It looks really nice! Except for the enemy, but you said you were getting rid of that. How's your close combat coming? I've always had trouble with that.

ugh, I always hated doing that. Making it so the enemies can still hurt him, but he can't hurt them when he's facing the wrong direction, I hate doing that

accually he can hurt them when he's facing the wrong direction its not the character that hurts the enemy its the sword I have them as two different objects because the sword always points toward the mouse and if the sword is touching the enemy when you click it does damage

oh! That was a good way to fix the problem!
When the sword hits an enemy, instead of having to click, deal damage by the difference in it's image angle (for sake of a better word, I know you don't have pro.)

hey don't show on iPods. I'd have to see it tomorrow. The way I'm thinking would make it so overhead chop would deal more damage then taps on them. Here's the code for it:
Create event:
damage=0; image_previous=image_index;
Step event:
damage=100/abs(image_index/image_previous); image_previous=image_index;
Collision with enemy:
other.hp-=damage;
I think that will work.
